Andrew Bakey is a licensed Professional Engineer and has worked in the energy industry for 35+ Years. He has worked for multiple energy companies in Professional Development roles for PECO Energy, PPL EnergyPlus, Conectiv, Reliant Energy, Engie and Dynegy.
Most recently, Andrew started his own consulting company to provide energy procurement, feasibility studies, and sustainability projects. He is know by his peers as “Doc Bakey” for his lifelong commitment, coaching, teaching and helping his clients cure energy fears in the markets.
Andrew Bakey currently resides in Philadelphia and grew up and lived in Southern New Jersey. He has three children who also live in Philadelphia and attended St Joseph’s, Villanova, and Temple University. In his spare time, he coaches Little League Baseball and is a licensed Drone Pilot.
Andrew is an entrepreneur and has founded multiple businesses including Home Inspections, Drone Piloting, Covid-19 Safety Measures, and energy consulting. Andrew has sold and negotiated more than $3 Billion in energy sales to large energy consumers. Andrew has been the recipient of Numerous Sales Awards throughout his career.
Andrew is a member of BOMA (Building Owner’s and Manager’s Association), the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Philadelphia Association of Energy Engineers.
Andrew attended Villanova University for his Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering (BME) and Temple University for his MBA in Finance. He also has certifications from the Association of Energy Engineers in Procurement and Energy Management as well as an Energy Management Diploma from the University of Wisconsin.
